Free On Sunday: Salvation For Everyone

Free On Sunday · Dinner in the Vines

Dinner in
the Vines.

A gathering with purpose.
Connections that carry it forward.

For the Joe Beretta Heart Foundation, a fundraising evening supports a mission that continues long after the guests go home. Free On Sunday helped connect people and resources around that purpose.

Salvation for the need of the season.

Behind the celebration,
a practical purpose.

A successful event can bring people together around a need—and help an organization keep showing up for the families it serves.

The Joe Beretta Heart Foundation provides practical support to heart failure patients and their families. Housing, meals, transportation, utility support, and other resources can help families facing the pressures of treatment and recovery.

Dinner in the Vines brings that mission into a shared experience. Presented by Vanderbilt Heart & Vascular Institute, the gathering combined a Tuscan garden setting, silent and live auctions, patient stories, and a paddle raise.

The foundation’s recap reports more than 400 guests, $375,000 raised, and $100,000 generated by the paddle raise within that total. These are results of the foundation’s event and the wider community supporting it.

Free On Sunday’s role

A network connected
to a shared purpose.

The Salvation package began with what the foundation needed for the event and what could help it afterward.

Free On Sunday connected people in our network with the foundation to help promote Dinner in the Vines and bring more attention to the purpose behind the gathering.

We also helped connect support for adding value to sponsors: bringing the event’s mission, the people involved, and the sponsor experience into the same plan.

Another part of that plan was recap content. Connecting the right people to capture and share the experience gave the foundation material it could use to tell the story, recognize the community behind it, and prepare for the following year.

Our contribution supported the foundation’s work alongside its event leaders, sponsors, donors, volunteers, and attendees. The goal was to help connect the pieces the mission needed.

The Salvation package

Strategy. Build.
Launch. Sustain.

Each part of the plan served the foundation’s purpose. The people, tools, and resources followed the need.

Strategy

Start with the purpose.

Align the support around the event’s mission, the people it needed to reach, sponsor value, and what could help the organization after the evening ended.

Build

Connect the right people.

Bring relationships from our network alongside the foundation, connecting people who could help carry the plan into practical action.

Launch

Support the gathering.

Help connect resources for event promotion, sponsor value, and content that captures the people and purpose behind the experience.

Sustain

Carry the story forward.

Give the foundation recap content it can use to share the impact of the evening, thank supporters, and build toward a stronger event the following year.

The people behind the purpose

More than an evening.
A community of support.

Guests, volunteers, sponsors, and families all help make a mission visible.

These moments show why the connections matter. A gathering creates space for people to understand a need, take part, and help the work continue.

Beyond the event

Help the mission
keep moving.

The evening ends. The need for support continues.

Recap content can help an organization show supporters what they helped make possible and bring new people into the story. It can also provide a starting point for future conversations with sponsors and partners.

For Free On Sunday, sustaining the work means thinking beyond a single deliverable. Here, the aim was to connect people and resources the foundation could build on as it prepared for its next season.

That is Salvation for the need of the season: begin with the strategy, build around the purpose, and connect what is needed to carry it forward.
