Salvation in action

Access. Exposure.
Belief.

Fast Is Just the Beginning was never designed to be just another basketball clinic. It was about creating access. Creating exposure. Creating belief.

Together with Google Fiber, Free On Sunday built an experience that connected technology, athletics, and community—giving young athletes the opportunity to train, learn, and be inspired at a high level.

The court was our meeting place. The purpose reached beyond the game: bring young people into an environment where preparation matters, possibility feels closer, and people show up for one another.

“Because when you give kids the right environment, you don’t just change a day…you shift a trajectory.”

The opportunity

While the spotlight
was on Nashville.

How do we pour back into the community while the spotlight is on the city?

During SEC Tournament Week, one of Nashville’s biggest sports moments, there was an opportunity to do more than entertain. We chose to create a premium, intentional youth experience that reflected what could come next.

That started with a strategy: connect the energy of the moment with the coaches, partners, setting, and resources that could make a meaningful experience possible for young athletes and their families.

What we built

One experience.
More ways to grow.

Training, real conversations, family connection, and technology came together around one purpose: opening a door for young people.

Elite training experience

Young athletes moved through competitive, high-energy stations designed to challenge their skills and preparation.

  • Speed, agility, and reaction drills
  • Skill development and basketball IQ
  • Focused instruction and on-court practice

Leadership & mindset

The experience made room for the habits and confidence that matter beyond the court.

  • Real conversations about discipline and preparation
  • Exposure to high-level athletes and coaches
  • Encouragement to see what is possible

Community connection

Families were part of the experience, with people present, engaged, and connected around the next generation.

  • A safe, inspiring environment
  • Families showing up alongside young athletes
  • Partners and community sharing the same space

Technology & opportunity

Google Fiber helped connect the theme “Fast Is Just the Beginning” with a larger conversation about access and opportunity.

  • A shared theme throughout the experience
  • GFiber’s presence woven into the environment
  • Technology connected to what young people can do next

Leadership in the room

More than presence.
Perspective.

NBA champion Rajon Rondo brought more than a name to the room. He brought perspective.

From engaging with athletes to reinforcing the importance of preparation, his involvement elevated the experience and gave young players a real connection to what is possible.

For a young athlete, hearing from someone who has competed at that level can make a lesson feel different. Discipline, readiness, and belief became part of the conversation—not just the drills.

The Salvation package in practice

A need.
A plan. People who show up.

This clinic is one expression of Salvation for the need of the season. The setting changes. The approach starts with understanding what is needed.

Strategy

Start with purpose.

Identify the opportunity: a youth experience that connects the city’s sports moment with access, learning, and community.

Build

Connect what it takes.

Bring the training, partner relationships, people, and resources together around an intentional plan.

Launch

Put the plan in motion.

Turn shared willingness into a real experience, from the first drill to the conversations around the court.

Sustain

Look beyond the day.

Use the relationships, lessons, and shared belief as a starting point for the next conversation about what the community needs.

What could we make possible together?

Bring a need.
Help open a door.

A school, a nonprofit, a business, a university, a family, or an individual. We start with your season and build the strategy around what comes next.
